Yet Another Agile Coach with cprime

I’ve been in this industry long enough to remember Fortran, TTL, and to think a 64K DRAM was a major technology break though. Today I am an agile coach which means I go around annoying really smart people who know everything about their job and coach them how to do their job. Prior to becoming a coach, I did have a real job where I built things for a living such as cellular telephone switches and railway signalling systems.

My research interest is software engineering and as an early retirement project did my PhD at the University of British Columbia, where we did a grounded theory study asking the simple question “how do people manage the process of software development” We were interested in understanding what was the disconnect between the way people actually development software and the way methodologists say they’re supposed to.
