By Rail - DART
Visitors to the capital are encouraged to use the DART, (Dublin Area Rapid Transport), to enjoy stunning views of Dublin Bay and travel out of the city to the numerous fishing villages and towns that are dotted along the coastline. The city center DART stations are Connolly, Pearse and Tara.
By Rail - LUAS
Dublin has its own state-of-the-art light rail system which services the city and its outskirts. This is a hassle-free way to travel to and from the city center.
Dublin Airport is located 10km north of Dublin city centre and is just 20 minutes from the hotel via the Port Tunnel.
Dublin Bus operates a 24-hour service from the city centre to the airport. Dublin Express also offers a direct service to and from the airport (9€ return tickets online), stopping at Custom House, which is a short walk from the hotel. Taxi and car hire services are also easily available.
The Visitor Leap Card
Dublin city wide travel card Leap Cards are quicker and cheaper than paying for single fares with cash and they can be used to pay-as-you-go on Airlink, Dublin Bus, LUAS and DART. You can purchase them in the arrivals hall at Dublin Airport. The Leap Card takes you anywhere you want to go in the city and suburbs for the following time periods; 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days.
Taxis are available both at the airport and around the city. Free Now is a common mobile taxi booking app (similar to Uber and Lyft) in Dublin.
