Mr. Dimitrios Tsoukalas holds a B.Sc. in “Applied Informatics” and a M.Sc. in “Computer Systems” from the Department of Applied Informatics - University of Macedonia (UoM). He also holds a MSc. in “Intelligent Systems - Computational Intelligence Methodologies and Applications” from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering – Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). Since April 2015, he works as a Research Assistant at the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH/ITI). His main research interests include Software Engineering (technical debt, code quality & metrics) and Intelligent Systems (machine learning, computational intelligence). Since May 2018, he is a PhD student at the Department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia (UoM). The topic of his PhD lies in the field of “Technical Debt Estimation and Forecasting Techniques for Software Systems”.
